The primary responsibility of this position is to educate students within the schools of the South Vancouver Island Area, including elementary, middle, high school and post-secondary institutions, and to secure presentation opportunities within the schools.  Other responsibilities include research and development of programs, coordination of community awareness events and a Community Liaison in the recovery community to help support the organization’s mental health and addiction publication, Stigma Magazine.

 

Post-secondary education, marketing experience, and first hand experience with addiction would be considered an asset but not essential. The successful applicant will have exceptional oral and written communication and social media skills, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects at a time. As this position will require travel, the successful applicant must have access to a motor vehicle.
