STIGMA MAGAZINE PRESENTS:
CANADA'S TOP 25 UNDER 25 ACTIVISTS, ADVOCATES AND
INNOVATORS IN RECOVERY, MENTAL HEALTH AND PREVENTATIVE EDUCATION

Stigma Magazine, with help from our parent company BeYouPromise.org, is proud and happy to invite you to nominate yourself, friends, family and rolemodels to be considered for our first ever 25 Under 25 list and prize.  Canada's Top Choice will receive a feature length article in the Stigma Magazine Spring 2017 Issue, a Young Advocates award from BeYouPromise.org, and cash prize of 500 dollars.  The second and third place runners up will be featured on our Stigma Magazine blog.  All 25 of our Top 25 Under 25 will have their picture and information about their important work run in the Fall/Winter 2016 Issue of Stigma Magazine.

Please Note:

  • Submissions must be sent to info@stigmamagazine.com before midnight, October 25th 2016.

  • All nominees must be under the age of 26 to be considered

  • Stigma is looking for nominees who are doing good work in the fields of addiction recovery, mental health and preventative education, while we love hearing and celebrating successful stories of recovery from the community that is not the focus of this contest.

  • All nominees must be either Canadian citizens or long term residents with significant personal ties to the country and its community.

  • *Please submit a small head-shot style photograph with your nomination form to be used in the event your nominee is chosen for the list to be printed in the Fall/Winter 2016 issue*

  • ***If no photograph is available at the time of the submission that does not disqualify you.***

 

Your nomination should include

  • Name of Nominee

  • Organization, Project or Business Name

  • Age of Nominee

  • Years Involved in Recovery, Mental Health etc. 

  • Please include a short personal essay of no more than 500 words briefly detailing the work your nominee is involved in and why you feel it qualifies them for a spot on our list.
